Madhu Koneru is a second-generation entrepreneur and has taken over the business of Rescom in 1998. The Group has since diversified into several industrial minerals and commodities and is now a $500 Mn mineral trading entity with operating profits of over $60 Mn.

He is a member of the Board of Directors of Alghanim in Kuwait, one of the largest, privately-owned companies in the Gulf. He has been a member of the World Economic Forum since 2011 and has served as discussion leader/ panelist at various events organized by the forum. Recipient of 2007 Young Asian Achiever’s Award by Asian Awards-Middle East (ABA-ME)

Prior to joining Rescom, he was with Vedanta ltd as Director- Group commercial and was responsible for key raw materials for their Aluminium and Alumina business.

Qualified Finance professional with over 25 years of professional experience in Steel, mines & minerals processing and Oil refinery business. Has worked with the Steel giants like TATA’s in India, Global steel in Africa and Major mines & minerals processing group in Brazil as the Finance Director.

Instrumental in acquisition of mining assets in Indonesia for UK corporate and oil refinery Business in Iraq for a Kuwait based leading corporate house.
