The global trade involves working with customers across the globe in sectors., Oil and Gas, Fertilizers, Steel, Power and Ceramics. The trade steps in with successful business through end to end contracts with the suppliers, miners and government agencies which assures delivery on time through its competitive pricing for varying volume needs of the customers across a given period.
The division identifies and caters to the market needs in terms of supply and demand in Middle East, North Africa, USA, India, China and South-East Asia.
Trade in RESCOM is an ongoing activity which sets the tone by quality delivery through a flexible pricing model that is proportional to the market changes and periodic shipment plan.
These hubs process ore sourced from around the world and the high-quality product is shipped to customers in countries across the region.
Both the plants are equipped with a world-class laboratory, fitted with cutting edge equipment for quality control and research & development, and has been awarded the ISO-9001:2008. The company is also looking at setting up similar processing plants in the Far East.
RESCOM follows a robust system of trade finance and working capital financing structures. The Group works with a plethora of local as well as international Banks and Financial Institutions, each combining different lending styles so as to suit RESCOM's competitive trade financing needs. Our Trade Finance outfit works closely with the Trade desk to understand the financing requirements for each product and trade cycle in detail. Once the transaction is identified and customer supplier trade terms are set, the teams position these proposals to identified banks and Financial Institutions to complete the transaction cycle in time.
RESCOM works closely with a network of Banks that supports the Group's Trade finance payments either by way of Letters of Credit, Advance to suppliers/ mine owners, Telegraphic transfers, Documentary collection basis etc. Similarly, our customer payments and receivables are also structured, depending on the structure of each trade transaction. RESCOM's finance team also works on other financing opportunities such as leveraging options for the Group's mine investments, long term supplier advances against offtakes etc.
Our shipping arm specializes in dry cargo chartering and caters to the inhouse as well as the market commodities to provide a reliable and cost-effective sea transportation.
We excel in Voyage and Time charter of carriers on the basis of current market conditions. This ability provides an edge over others to provide superior cost benefits to our key accounts with competitive prices and at the same time, improve business profits / growth. To keep up with the shipping market variations and achieve growth targets require a strong focus, which drives to ensure timely/apt decisions are taken.
We are adept to manage disputes and legal matters on shipping. We closely associate with "The Charterers P&I Club" to cover our charterer's liability & risk.
